Five years ago I came to Hope For The Heart, just as a regular employee seeking employment. There was one particular department — it was the abortion recovery ministry that touched my heart on a personal level. For 23 years, I had carried the secret of a past abortion. And through the healing of that ministry, I received God’s forgiveness and emotional healing. In the meantime, He has led me to become a part of that ministry reaching out to women and men, who have had a post-abortive experience or who have experienced an unplanned pregnancy or trouble with a pregnancy.  And He just led me to be the counselor for them in their trials and to help them also receive God’s forgiveness and healing. There are so many pains and emotions involved with a woman whose experienced a past abortion. The one thing that I would encourage anyone that is interested in this ministry is to have a heart of compassion, to reach out, to make her aware, that there is hope for her.
