June Hunt is the founder of Hope For The Heart, a worldwide biblical counseling ministry with resources translated in 36 languages on 6 continents.
June is an author, singer, speaker and host of two national radio programs, Hope For The Heart and Hope In The Night, featuring live call-in counseling. Her 100-topic Biblical Counseling Library provides biblical hope and practical help for today’s problems.
Dr. Eric Scalise

Dr. Eric Scalise is a seasoned organizational leader with extensive professional and ministry expertise. He has consulted and worked with numerous groups as diverse as the Congressional Prayer Caucus Foundation, the American Association of Christian Counselors, Regent University and many others. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Dr. Scalise has nearly 40 years of clinical and professional experience. Additionally, he is a published author and national/international speaker, frequently working with organizations, clinicians, ministry leaders and churches on a variety of issues.
Steve Smith, M.A.
Founder & Director of HopeWorks
VP and Chaplain, Hope for the Heart
Steve Smith is a passionate communicator, gifted in connecting with people and helping them achieve their personal and professional goals. With extensive experience in counseling, coaching and pastoral ministry, Steve has provided sound counsel to individuals, couples, families, churches and organizations for over 35 years.
In 2001, he founded HopeWorks Counseling, where his team of licensed professional counselors blend psychological principles and biblical wisdom to help clients address problems to achieve a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Specialty areas include marriage, single parenting, premarital, divorce care, and conflict resolution.
Steve is a Licensed Christian Mediator and Certified Christian Life Coach. His engaging style, humor and storytelling ability have made him a favorite speaker with professional sports organizations, businesses and churches.
Steve and his wife, Donna, have been married for 45 years; they have two children and one grandson.
Haley Scully, M.A.
Vice President of Strategic and Ministry Projects
Haley Scully, MA, is a speaker, author, and trainer and has been with Hope for the Heart since 2011. She currently serves as the Vice President of Strategic and Ministry Projects. She began her work in our onsite counseling programs and moved into international ministry where she has delivered training in over 30 countries. She manages initiatives, develops partnerships, coordinates resources, and provides basic counseling, coaching, and care ministry training for church leaders and parachurch organizations around the world.
Haley earned her degree in Communications from Oklahoma State University and Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She is passionate about connecting hurting hearts to hope in Christ and application of God’s Word to their everyday lives.
