I am working with Hope For The Heart and I work with partnerships in Latin America. Our desire is to share with these people the hope that is found in Jesus Christ. We do this by sharing with them the resources that we have and the training that we can offer to help them understand that they can be conduits of hope to those in their own countries.
A lady named Sophia, who was an alcoholic from childbirth, was given alcohol by her parents so that she would not be noisy. Coming from that background, she was very deeply addicted. She started coming to a Hope Center where the director, who we partner with, walked her through breaking her addiction.
After about a year and a half, she attended all of the trainings that were available at the Hope Center. And she said, “I need to go back to my hometown and offer this hope to the other women.” It’s really great to see people who have been walking through the process of restoration and having that transformed life in Christ.
