Dallas, Texas – Hope For The Heart is pleased to announce that Rich Hooper has been selected as June Hunt’s new cohost of Hope In The Night.
Rich brings with him over 25 years of experience in radio broadcast programming, serving with Dallas affiliates KLTY Radio (Salem Communications), KTXG Radio (American Family Radio) and KCBI Radio (First Dallas Media). As a radio veteran, Rich’s vast experience as a communicator and program director will serve to further strengthen HOPE’s broadcast outreach efforts.
“I’m delighted to have Rich join our late-night program,” shares June Hunt. “Rich has a heart for serving God’s children, especially those who are struggling with difficult life issues. I feel confident he will continue to offer compassionate, wise counsel on the numerous issues that we discuss each evening during Hope In The Night. We are honored to have him as a part of our HOPE team.”
In addition, Rich will continue to serve as the Senior Pastor of Grace Community Church in Princeton, Texas. He has served in this role for the past seven years after taking over for his father, who founded the church in 2001. Rich continues to provide leadership to the staff and teach freedom and hope to the congregation and community.
“I know that I have some big shoes to fill in Jim Cress, but I’m really excited for what God has in store for Hope In The Night. My prayer is that the Lord will continue to use this program to offer much needed healing to those dealing with spiritual and emotional issues. As I co-labor alongside June, my hope is that callers and those listening will embrace the fact that it is Christ in us – His hope – that is being offered to them through his love and grace.”
Rich is a graduate of Christian Life School of Theology and serves on the Advisory Board of All the Difference Ministries and Christ Cares for Princeton. He is married to his wife, Tanya, and has two children, Marcus and Natalee.
