The Counseling Ministries of Hope For The Heart has seen a dream become a reality with the launching of Biblical Counseling Services (BCS). The overarching goal of the BCS is to provide face-to-face counseling sessions, offering God’s Truth for Today’s Problems in order to build a bridge of hope to those in need. All of our counseling sessions currently take place at the Hope Center located in Plano, Texas.
BCS is currently led by Karen Billman, M.Ed., LPC-S. Additional initiatives of program development include: partnering with local seminaries and Bible colleges in order to help train upcoming practicum and intern students while providing masters level counseling here at Hope For The Heart; ongoing development of current partnerships with local counseling centers that are used for Hope’s clients as referrals when necessary; and further outreach to the community as an effort to build relationships as we make them aware of how we can best serve them with Biblical Counseling Services.
