Our desire is to share with these people the hope that is found in Jesus Christ. We do this by sharing with them the resources that we have and the training that we can offer to help them understand that they can be conduits of hope.
I was raised in a church home, but walked away from the church at a very early age... I struggled with feelings of worthlessness and depression pretty much my whole life. Also at a very early age got involved in drug usage - abuse, drug abuse. And got out of that, but you know still struggled with other addictions.
My life was going downhill fast and I did not know where to turn to find hope for my life…
I grew up in a home where alcohol was abused, and so my childhood years were pretty rough. I became a Christian at the age of 13, but the alcoholism in my family escalated, and it was a very difficult time at home.
"I have a difficult time viewing people as anything more than objects. This has kept me from enjoying any real relationships in my life..."
